Colon claimed the District #120 boys basketball title on their home court Friday, defeating Mendon 66-52 for the championship. The win gives the Magi a third consecutive district title.

The visiting Hornets found themselves ahead by one at halftime, but a 21-8 third quarter gave Colon the advantage for good.
Now 17-7 for the season, the Magi face Lawrence in the regional semifinal on Monday at 7 p.m. hosted by Bellevue. Mendon finishes their season at 11-14.
