Centreville won at Union City 47-46 Friday to secure the District #80 boys basketball championship. The game came down to the wire as a Gavin Bunning basket with 1.5 seconds remaining put the Bulldogs ahead at the end.

Centreville had a seven-point lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Chargers went ahead by halftime and held the advantage entering the fourth quarter.
Centreville improves to 17-7 and Union City finishes at 11-14. It is the second district title in three seasons for the Bulldogs. Up next is regional semifinal on Monday against Lawton with a 7 p.m. start time from Coloma.
