Mendon was defeated 52-43 in Tuesday’s boys basketball trip to Tekonsha. The non-conference loss drops the Hornets to 6-11, while Tekonsha improves to 9-7.
“We just got outplayed tonight, we were not ready to play,” said Mendon head coach Danny Schragg. “We had a horrible shooting night, but were still in the game. We just couldn’t make plays, and they attacked our defense and put us in bad positions.”
Both teams have short turnarounds with Wednesday action. The Hornets head to Centreville and Tekonsha plays at Pansophia Academy.
