Mendon mauled Bangor 61-32 in boys basketball Monday, putting the Hornets at 8-12 for the year.
“Great win for us on the road tonight,” said Mendon coach Danny Schragg. “We had a huge first quarter and made some great decisions offensively to build an early lead and we never looked back.”
The Hornets host Comstock Friday. The Vikings fall to 6-13 and head to Marcellus Friday.
“Moved the ball really well tonight and again our press forced some turnovers,” added Schragg. “This was a really good win for us late in the season, we worked as a team and got the job done.”
