Hartford escaped with a 64-60 overtime win against Mendon in Friday’s boys basketball contest at Hartford.
The Hornets gave the Indians a much tougher battle than the 47-28 result from last month, holding a seven-point lead entering the fourth quarter. Hartford was able to force OT and outlast Mendon for the win.
Hartford improves to 7-8 with the win and 6-7 in the Southwest 10 standings, tied for sixth. They travel to league leader Marcellus Tuesday.
Mendon is 1-11 both overall and in league play. The Hornets travel to Bangor Tuesday, the team they got their lone win against last month.
