Portage Central 19, DeWitt 6 (Game 1)
The bats came alive for Portage Central with 15 hits and three home runs in game one. Ben Cunningham, Max Longman, and Bronson Wyman all went deep with Wyman adding a double. Cunningham had five RBI and Longman had three. Those three and Michael Verduzco each scored three runs. Verduzco also pitched three scoreless innings in relief, giving up only one hit.
DeWitt 9, Portage Central 8 (Game 2)
The Mustangs seemed on their way to victory with an 8-2 advantage entering the fifth and ultimately final inning. However, DeWitt rallied with a seven-run inning on five hits, four walks, and one hit by pitch. Longman smacked another homer (solo) and doubled for PC. Gavin Brasosky tallied three RBI off a double and walk.

Gull Lake 11, Loy Norrix 1 (Game 1)
After both teams scored once in the first inning, the Blue Devils pulled away with four in the second and five runs in the fourth. Luke Scoles pitched a complete game win, allowing only the one earned run and three hits with five strikeouts and four walks. Jacob Louden picked up two singles and a triple, bringing in four runs and scoring twice. Yohan Ademodi scored the lone Knight run, getting on base twice via a triple and a walk.
Gull Lake 12, Loy Norrix 1 (Game 2)
Jack Blesch threw seven innings in a complete game win, allowing only one hit and one walk with 11 strikeouts. Korbin Griffin had four RBI and two runs with a triple. Louden added another three runs and three RBI on two hits. DeAndre Worthy had Norrix’s lone hit (a double) and their lone run.

Schoolcraft 15, Kalamazoo Central 10
The Eagles and Maroon Giants had a lengthy affair which saw a combined 31 hits, nine errors, and 17 walks. Schoolcraft held a 12-3 lead after the fourth inning and had to fend off a six-run seventh inning to hold on.
Jett Gott scored four runs on four singles with three stolen bases for the Eagles. They had four RBI by Ryan Gillesby with a hit and three walks. Alex Thole scored three on two hits and three steals. Connor Nutt added three hits and one RBI. K-Central saw three hits from William Fulton. Sam Henley racked up three RBI and Hilario DeLaPaz drew three walks.
Vicksburg 9, Allegan 0 (Game 1)
Joey McCowen was stellar on the mound for the Bulldogs, striking out 12 batters with only one hit allowed in six innings. Chase Myers had four RBI on three singles with two runs, plus a perfect seventh inning in relief. Nick Swope scored thrice on two hits. Carter Ford scored twice and Jacob Conkin had two hits.
Vicksburg 11, Allegan 2 (Game 2)
Parker Wilson fanned eight batters in his four inning start, allowing one unearned run and five hits. Ford, Conklin, Swope, and Austin Zeigler all scored two runs apiece. Zeigler, Myers, and Wilson both added two RBI.
Sturgis 4, Three Rivers 0 (Game 1)
Drew Murphy delivered a complete game shutout for the Trojans, allowing just three hits and one walk with nine strikeouts. Connor Quake went six innings for the Wildcats with four earned runs surrendered on eight hits. Zach Chapman brought in two runners on a double. Brayden Bathgate had three hits and Parker Stevens added two. Only Carter Minger made it on base twice for TR with a single and walk.

Sturgis 6, Three Rivers 0 (Game 2)
Great pitching continued for Sturgis with another seven-inning shutout, this time by Lane Kimes. He scattered nine hits and one walk with five strikeouts. Brayden Webb and Murphy both had a single and double with Webb getting home twice. Parker Ellifritz had three singles in defeat for Three Rivers.
(At Dowagiac Union)
Dowagiac 13, Edwardsburg 8 (Game 1)
The action came in the fourth inning, which started with five Eddie runs and ended with seven Chieftains scoring. Errors sank Edwardsburg with only four of Dowagiac’s runs being earned. Deshawn Brooks, Cody Dorman, AJ Kidd, and Cole Weller all scored twice for the Chieftains. For the Eddies, Jonah Sibley had four RBI on two hits and Colby Sidenbender scored thrice on two hits and a walk.
Edwardsburg 2, Dowagiac 0 (Game 2)
Game two was a different beast with both teams being held to three hits thanks to great pitching on both sides. Brayden Burgess went the first five innings for the Eddies, giving up three hits with seven strikeouts. Sibley was perfect in the final two with four strikeouts. Brooks had a strong showing in defeat for Dowagiac with two runs and three hits over six innings. Connor Nelson had a two RBI single in the sixth inning, scoring Sibley and Mac Gaideski.
Comstock 12, Parchment 0 (Game 1)
Tanner Clements had an excellent six inning shutout for the Colts, allowing three hits and two walks with five strikeouts. Comstock ended the game an inning early with five runs in the sixth. TJ Reilly tripled twice for two RBI and one run. Jack Kendall, Sage DeCamp, and Branden Willis all scored twice.
Parchment 6, Comstock 6 (Game 2)
The Panthers rallied from a 6-2 hole to force a tie as darkness loomed following their four-run bottom of the seventh inning. Parchment had two hit, two run days by both Connor Stutz and Evan Jasiak. Liam Houtkooper and Jacob Bielski both added two RBI. Comstock saw two hits and runs from Jared Plane and two RBI by Kendall. Reilly also notched his third triple of the doubleheader.
Colon 2, Climax-Scotts 1 (Game 1, 8 innings)
The lone Panther run came in the fourth inning with Colon matching in the sixth. In the bottom of the eighth, Jonathan West had the walkoff RBI single, bringing in Andy Stoll who kept the inning alive on a two-out double. Three Magi pitchers combined for only four hits and two walks allowed. C-S’s Jake Lane gave up six hits in his effort and scored the lone Panther run.
Colon 13, Climax-Scotts 11 (Game 2)
Phillip Alva earned the win for Colon, throwing two innings with six hits and three earned runs allowed. Austin Stoll got the save. Andrew Smolarz pitched one inning and scattered four hits and gave up two earned runs with a strikeout, West tossed two innings with six hits and three earned runs allowed to go with one strikeout. Smolarz finished with four hits and one RBI, Alva registered three hits and one RBI, Brandon Crawford connected on three base hits and drove in a pair of runs, Austin Stoll singled twice and added two RBI, West singled and tripled with a pair of RBI, and Michael Barkman, Brice Frame, Matthew Bissett and Andy Stoll singled.
Elenga led Climax-Scotts with four hits and five RBI, including a homer and a double. Lane added three hits, Borden and Mejeur both had two hits, and Swager, Tutt and Kienast added one apiece.

Burr Oak’s Braxton Hernandez finished the night with two hits and one RBI, Branson Hernandez singled and drove in a run and Matthew Greene (two) and Damion Ultz added hits.
