Hunter Lindbert scored from 41 yards out to put Constantine up on Schoolcraft early Friday evening.
Unfortunately for the Falcons that was the only time they would find pay dirt all night as the Eagles flew past them 35-8, scoring a pair of touchdowns each in the first and second quarters and adding one in the third for good measure in the Southwestern Athletic Association contest.
Jack Hunt paced the Eagles with 87 yards and two scores on 18 carries as Kobe Clark added a pair of TD runs of his own and Trenton Lomason rounded out the scoring with his own rushing touchdown.
Lindbert led the way for Constantine with 68 yards on 12 touches, though most of them came on his 41-yard scamper. Nolan Malcom, who was just 3-of-13 through the air for 49 yards, added 34 yards rushing on seven carries.
Constantine was outgained 293-193 on the night, with all of Schoolcraft’s yards coming on the ground. The two schools ran almost an equal number of plays (Schoolcraft 60, Constantine 59) but the Eagles managed 17 first downs to the Falcons’ 10, and by keeping it on the ground all night, controlled the time of possession.
Logyn Miller led the Falcon D with five tackles, including one sack and, five assists, while Hunter Bacheller also registered a sack for Constantine.
