Colon remains undefeated in the Southern Central Athletic Association after Thursday’s 50-45 home victory against North Adams-Jerome.
Shooting 42.9 percent from the field as a team, the Magi had three players reach double figures, led by Austin Stoll’s 14-point effort. Andrew Smolarz posted 12 points and Clayton Wolf added 10.
Jonathan Smolarz added six points and Andy Stoll had four.
Colon trailed 11-8 at the end of the first quarter but outscored North Adams-Jerome 14-9 to take a 22-20 halftime lead. The Magi extended that lead to six points (36-30) heading into the fourth period.
Austin Stoll completed a double-double with a game-high 10 rebounds, Wolf had eight, and Jonathan Smolarz and Philip Alva both grabbed four boards. Alva led the team with five assists, and Austin Stoll finished with a block and two steals.
