Parchment 5, Schoolcraft 4
A wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh plated the winning run, as Parchment beat Schoolcraft on Friday in game one of the double header, 5-4.
Hunter Hanna scored the winning run for Parchment, one of his three runs scored for the game. Hanna led the way offensively for Parchment, with three hits and one RBI.
Tyler Beatty pitched 6.2 innings, striking out six while allowing three earned runs.

Schoolcraft 10, Parchment 7
A strong outing from Garret Davis helped Schoolcraft manage a split, taking game two of the double header, 10-7.
Davis went 3-for-3 at the plate, with three RBIs and three runs scored. Alex Thole added two hits from the leadoff spot.
Parchment opened the game with four runs in the first inning, but Schoolcraft quickly bounced back with five runs of their own in the second frame. Parchment managed seven runs despite only having two hits. Schoolcraft, on the other hand, racked up eight hits.

Portage Northern came out on the wrong end of a pitchers dual during its first game in the Prep Baseball Report Midwest Select on Friday.
The Huskies gave up two runs in the second inning, which proved to be enough for the Sanburg pitching staff, which held Portage Northern to a single hit.
Tyler Helgeson had a strong outing on the hill for the Huskies, striking out six batters while allowing four hits in five innings pitched. JP Gonzalez was also solid in relief, pitching two scoreless innings.

O’Fallon (IL) 8, Portage Northern 1
The offensive struggles for Portage Northern continued in game two of the PBR Midwest Select, as the Huskies lost 8-1 to O’Fallon.
O’Fallon scored in each of the first three innings, taking a 4-0 lead into the fourth. O’Fallon later broke the game open with four runs in the sixth frame.
Portage Northern sprayed six hits, with Tyler Helgeson going 2-for-4 with an RBI in the leadoff spot.

Portage Northern 2, Roncalli (IN) 0
Portage Northern ended the weekend on a high note, defeating Roncalli (IN) 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Three pitchers combined for the shutout for the Huskies, with Greg Lapetina earning the win. Each pitcher completed at least two innings, with Lapetina and Xander Morris sharing an inning. Lapetina allowed no hits, and struck out two.
Hitting in the three hole, Cam French helped spark just enough offense for Portage Northern to secure the win. French was 3-for-3 at the dish, with one RBI. Lapetina also helped his cause with one RBI.

Climax-Scotts 10, North Adams-Jerome 5
The Panthers won the first game 10-5 in extra innings with the game tied at five in regulation. Bryce Wetzel got the win in relief striking out six batters. The C-S hitting attack was led by senior Nyime Chaib, who had three hits and three RBI.
Climax-Scotts 5, North Adams-Jerome 3
The second game was a 5-3 Panther victory as senior Nathan Vickery went a complete game to get the win. He gave up four hits and did not walk a batter but hit one Ram batter with a pitch on his way to throwing a four hitter. C-S was led at the plate by Jake Lane as he had three hits and scored two runs. The Panthers are 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the SCAA.
Comstock 7, Maple Valley 2
Sage DeCamp earned the win for Comstock, entering the game in the fourth inning and allowing one hit with a strikeout over four innings. Jared Plane started for the Colts and lasted three innings with three hits and two earned runs allowed. He struck out two. Comstock trailed 2-0 heading into the fourth inning and the squad plated three runs in the bottom of the fifth and four more in the sixth for the win.
Kyle Moore, T.J. Reilly and Noah Jackson had hits for the Colts. Moore batted in a pair of runs, while Evan Caswell, Jackson and Cole Mollohan each finished with 1 RBI.
Comstock 9, Maple Valley 1
With two runs scored in each of the first two innings, the Colts enjoyed an early lead and tacked on five more runs in the third. Eric Miller tossed four innings for the victory, scattering two hits and allowing one earned run. Kyle Moore earned the save in the fifth with a strikeout and not hits allowed.
Jared Plane led the Colts with three singles, Caswell had two, and Moore, Miller, and Michael Khazad registered base knocks. Plane and Caswell drove in two runs apiece.
