Constantine improved to 1-1 Friday with 42-29 victory against visiting Lawrence.
Kiara Price led the Falcons with 15 points, eight rebounds and five steals.
“We played a well-balanced game tonight,” Constantine coach Rachel Schlosser said. “We still have a lot of work to do; and finding our ‘groove’ is taking time. However, there are a lot of positives to take from this win. The girls worked hard and adjusted to frequent changes throughout the game. We were strong in our press, maintained our principles, and were able to capitalize when needed.”
Macey Tulley and Hannah Outlaw each added six points, Mackenzi Dobosiewicz finished with five steals, Outlaw grabbed four rebounds, and Melissa Bontrager had 10 boards to go with four points.
“To get a win at home, early, is great,” Schlosser said. “We will learn to minimize our turnovers and focus on maximizing scoring opportunities based on match ups. I’m proud of the girls.”
