In what was expected to be one of the more competitive Southwest 10 Conference games of the season, Centreville continued to prove it is a cut or two or three above the rest of its league competitors with a 68-27 girls varsity basketball victory at home Friday against Hartford.
The Bulldogs improved to 8-1 overall and 7-0 in the Southwest 10.
Centreville improves to 8-1 (7-0 Conference).
Carly Todd led the team with 17 points, Samara Schlabach finished with 14, and Joanna Larsen had 10. Schlabach registered six rebounds and two blocks, while Larsen ended the night with 10 rebounds and a pair of blocks.
Carlee Odom notched seven points, six assists and six steals, Olivia Deeds scored six points, Brittany Morris and Morgan Walton each had four points, and Abby Nighswonger produced two points and seven assists.
