“Tonight was a good night for us all around except when it came to stopping Claycee West in the second half; but I think most teams will have that problem as she is a great player. As a team, we had a great game with everyone getting in the scoring and rebounding column. No matter the margin, we continued to play hard and unselfish always looking out for our teammates. This is a special group and I look forward to what is ahead.”
Claycee West produced a game-high 27 points for White Pigeon. The sophomore also notched eight rebounds, two assists, three steals and a pair of blocks. Sidney Mishler registered five points, four boards and three assists, Melissa Hayden finished with two points, four rebounds and an assist, and Reyna Fielis hit a free throw and secured two rebounds for the Chiefs.
