Camden-Frontier claimed a pair of Southern Central Athletic Association victories over Burr Oak Friday, 6-2 and 7-3.
Noah Greene tossed two innings and scattered eight hits and allowed five earned runs for Burr Oak. He finished with four strikeouts. Braxton Hernandez went three innings, allowed one hit and struck out six.
Logan Wood led the Bobcats with two hits and 2 RBI. Hernandez, Matthew Greene, Noah Greene and Armando Beverly each singled.
In Game 2, Camden-Frontier scored five runs in the first inning and made it a 6-0 contest in the top of the third. Burr Oak answered with three runs in the bottom half of the third but couldn’t get anything else going with just two hits in the game.
Hernandez singled and Greene doubled and had 2 RBI. Beverly took the loss after giving up nine hits and six earned runs with a pair of strikeouts.
