Burr Oak got back on the winning track Thursday with a 61-25 varsity boys basketball victory at Waldron.
Zach Boyd had a huge night with 25 points, three steals and three rebounds. Caleb Brooks dropped in 14 points to go with three boards, and Braxton Hernandez added nine points and four rebounds.
“Really needed this win tonight,” Burr Oak coach Danny Schragg said. “Been in a slump and we came out with good energy tonight and played well. Caleb Brooks got us rolling in the first with some great moves to the basket, and Zach Boyd caught fire in the second half and we were able to pull away.”
Armondo Beverly recorded six points and nine rebounds, Dennis Currier, Brandon Robbennolt and Victor Carter both had two points, and Noah Greene added one.
